Q1 - Are there plans for any new articulation (e.g. wrists) in the upcoming figures?

A1 - Yes, several of the figures will feature this new point of articulation, but unfortunately not all of them.

Q2 - Considering the popularity and scarcity of the PoC Alley-Viper, is it possible that a 5-pack army builder could be released?

A2 - We are always thinking about how to get army builders to the collector community as efficiently and easily as possible. We are not currently planning on an Alley-Viper army builder pack.

3Q - The Wave 3 Snake Eyes looks amazing! Will there really be two variations released, one commando goggles head, and one visor ninja head? What is the planned distribution ratio? Hopefully a 50/50 or close as possible?

3A - We have an update for you - all carded figures will have both the Commando and Visor heads. There will no longer be variant version on this figure.

1) Why does POC Beach Head only come with one knife but have sheaths for two?

Hasbro Answered:
This was a mistake. The figure was originally supposed to come with two knives but the mistake was caught too late to fix.

Are some of the toys in POC ( namely some vehicles) designs that were brought forward from the aborted/abandoned Robot Rebellion sub-line?
  Hasbro Answered:
The only design that made it into Pursuit of Cobra from Robot Rebellion were the G.I. Joe and Cobra Mech Suits.

2) The 2010 line features extra accessories/alternate heads/weapons seeming to compensate for the lack of missile launchers... which is awesome. Any chance this will be a continuing trend?

Hasbro: We are planning to continue what is successful in the current line.

2.) Fans of the current G.I. Joe Pursuit of COBRA and the past 25th anniversary are hoping to see a continuation of anatomically realistic action figures in future products. PoC gave us great figures with a fantastic plethora of realistic weapons and gear never seen before in the line. However, the animation samples from Renegades shows a less realistic, more simplistic, and more heavily stylized look to the characters that seemingly counters the realism in PoC. Will the style of animation featured in the Renegades cartoon on The Hub be reflected in the toys based on the television show, or will the actual toys be more realistic compared to their screen counterparts? Or will Hasbro consider both an "animated" look selling alongside a "classic" G.I. Joe action figure line such as you have with Star Wars and The Clone Wars?

G.I. Joe product inspired by characters and themes from the upcoming G.I. Joe Renegades series on the Hub will be available in Fall 2011. The figures will be offered in the Pursuit of Cobra line and will have the highly-detailed, realistic look of the line.

2) It seems that Cobra has gone more red now in color, with the Alley Viper, Cobra Commander, Cobra Mech... Will we be seeing more Cobra blue in the future?

Quote:
Yes, there will be more blue in the future.

3) Will we see more 25th style influenced characters in the Pursuit of Cobra line like Low-Light, etc?

Answer: We are so excited for the line up over the next few months. We don't want to give away any surprises but we believe that the fans will be very happy. We are really trying to listen to our fans and deliver the best figures ever.

3) Hasbro has produced internet exclusive 7-packs the past couple of years. What plans do you have for internet exclusives next year?

We’re wrestling with this subject just at this moment. There are a number of ideas being tossed about and they’re so good that we are having trouble deciding what we want to do. As soon as we decide, we’ll let you know.

1.) Have we seen all of the figures planned for the POC line? In past Q & A sessions, there were other figures that were mentioned (Crazy Legs, Saw-Viper, Helix, Zarana, Steel Brigade) as coming out with this line, but we haven't heard anymore about them them. In the press release about Sgt. Slaughter, you stated we might be getting him in late spring. Can you give us any details?

A.) You haven't seen everything yet. At this point, we are planning some great selections that we hope you love - we do. No details yet on the Sgt. Slaughter figure.

Preserve: The new Pursuit of Cobra Snake Eyes with Tornado Kick figure is really fantastic! Could the designer or team that worked on this figure comment on the process of developing, and getting approval for, this great throwback action feature, in a climate that has been avoiding that sort of dynamic figure addition?

Hasbro: We are glad you like it! This figure was a challenge - we knew that the articulation could not be sacrificed and the torso needed to look the same in proportion with the other figures. So, by staying true to the promise of a great articulated figure, we were able to offer a fun kicking feature into this item. That being said, mechanisms at this scale are tough to execute, so the types of attacks the figure can do are mostly limited to kicking or spinning.
